City of Palmdale to Host Trip to California Science Center
Palmdale -- The City of Palmdale's parks and recreation department is accepting registrations for its one-day bus excursion to the California Science Center on Saturday, Feb. 27. The bus will depart from the Palmdale Transportation Center at 8:30 am and return at 5 pm.
The cost is $22 per person for Palmdale residents and $27 for non-residents.
Advance registration is required.
"The California Science Center provides a great learning experience for the whole family," said Palmdale's Recreation Supervisor Paula Leszkiewicz. "There really is so much to see and enjoy."
The registration fee includes round-trip bus transportation and admission. Participants can register online at www.cityofpalmdale.org, in-person at Palmdale's parks and recreation office located at 38260 10th St. East, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 6 pm, or at the Palmdale Oasis Park Center located at 3850 East Avenue S #A, Monday through Friday 9 am to 8 pm or Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm.
